New meetings would be scheduled in the next few hours to iron out the last details, so as to make the deal official before the start of the European Championships, where the 2001 class will be engaged with the Belgium jersey. As for the figures, the Bergamasque club is expected to pay into the Rossoneri coffers about 22 million euros plusù 2 bonus and 10% on the future resale of the player.

Crucial in unblocking the situation è was Milan’s will not to have in the squad a disgruntled player to be then placed in the summer market and the already known desire of De Ketelaere to continue his adventure in nerazzurro.

Once the sale of the Belgian talent is finalized, the Rossoneri will go back to work to try to give the first incoming shots to new coach Paulo Fonseca, with Joshua Zirkzee and Matty Cash being the major profiles being followed.
