Stefano Tacconi operated on femoral artery

Former Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi è underwent a 5-hour surgery today at Turin's Molinette Hospital for recanalization and reconstruction of the femoral artery.

The surgery was necessary because of the "severe picture of arterial ischemia of the right lower limb" with obstruction of the "aorta to femur" artery, explains a note from the City of Health Hospital Company.

A pathology – it is clarified – "not related to the previous pathology", the cerebral hemorrhage from ruptured aneurysm that had affected the'former goalkeeper in April 2022, in the province of Asti.

"The patient é awake lucid and asymptomatic" and è was transferred to the Molinette Hospital Resuscitation.
