Josep Martinez, Inter makes Genoa choose.
Five-year contract ready for Spanish goalkeeper
Inter seems to have made its choice. For the role of second goalkeeper for next season (but with plenty of chances to "undermine" Sommer), the Nerazzurri company has decided to bet on Martinez, a Spanish goalkeeper born in 1998 and owned by Genoa.
As a matter of fact, there would already be a well outlined proposal, namely a five-season contract for what, on paper, should become the new number one of the team coached by coach Inzaghi in the near future. The Spanish goalkeeper, under contract with Genoa until June 2025, has reportedly already given his okay for the transfer. Now there's to be found the final agreement with the Ligurian club that owns the card.
Closely, the two clubs will meet again to try to reach the classic white smoke. Inter would like to include in the deal a technical quid pro quo, so as to make the operation simpler from the economic point of view.
There would be four names proposed to the Griffon, namely Oristanio, Zanotti, Pio Esposito and Satriano, the latter the protagonist of a decent season in France with the Brest shirt (five goals). The Nerazzurri club wants to close the negotiation with Genoa quickly, so as to prevent someone else from inserting and trying to snatch Martinez from them.
