Euro 2024: own goal and blood, France wins but does not rejoice

It was not the Euro 2024 debut that France was expected to make, although as predicted it won against Austria, but only 1-0 and thanks to an own goal by Wober at 38', propitiated by Mbappé. The final result did not allow for much more celebration in light of what happened.

Mbappé and Thuram graced Rangnick’s men several times but the problem is the injuries suffered by Griezmann and Mbappè himself. If the Atletico Madrid striker è got a cut by crashing into advertising boards, more serious è appeared to be the situation for the newly acquired Real Madrid player.
