Lucas Pouille è peremptory over Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz

The last months of 2023 and the first half of 2024 have definitely archived the era of the Big Three, launching the two new dominators of tennis, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. French tennis player Lucas Pouille in an interview with Tennis Actu has no doubts that the two young champions can already be placed on the roster of the greats along with Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Carlos Alcaraz, at least as far as the level of their tennis is concerned.

"It depends on so many things, but at the tennis level I think the two of them are already as strong as those three. The question è whether they will be able to have the consistency of the Big Three, or the Big Four. Will they have the consistency to play at a high level week after week? Only the future will tell us ".

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have reached 20 Slams and more: "Will Sinner and Alcaraz be able to do the same? It's impossible to say. Will their motivation wane? Will they get injured? Carlos is only the Australian Open away from having the Career Grand Slam, he will have won all four, and he is only 21 years old. We can say that è really extraordinary".

"Today the two of them are of the same caliber as the four best we could have had in recent years. But whether they will do as well or better in their careers, I think we cannot say today".
