Giuseppe Poeta new coach of Brescia
Pallacanestro Brescia announced in a statement that it "has reached an agreement with Giuseppe Poeta, who will serve as head coach of Germani Brescia in the 2024-25" season.
"Giuseppe Poeta will be presented to the press tomorrow Tuesday, June 18 at 4:45 p.m. at the club headquarters in San Zeno Naviglio by the president of Pallacanestro Brescia, Graziella Bragaglio".
"Born in Battipaglia on Sept. 12, 1985, during his playing career he played at Salerno, Veroli, made his Serie A debut at Teramo and then è was at Virtus Bologna, Baskonia and Manresa in Spain, then Trento, Turin, Reggio Emilia and Cremona. He played 120 games in the national team and won the Italian Cup with Torino in 2018".
"Since’summer of 2022 è he joined Coach Ettore Messina’s staff at’Olimpia Milano with whom he won the Scudetto in 2023 and 2024. As a coach, è also assistant to the Italian National Team with which he participated in the 2022 European Championships, the 2023 World Championships and currently together with CT Pozzecco is preparing the expedition that will takeà part in the Pre-Olympic that will be held in Puerto Rico from July 2 to 7".
