Portugal-Czech Republic, the probable formations

It will be Portugal and Czech Republic that will compete in the match that will complete the first day of the group stage of Euro 2024. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, under the orders of Italian referee Marco Guida. The two national teams are part of Group F, along with Georgia and Turkey.

As for the Lusitanians, head coach Roberto Martinez is expected to field from 1' the 'talisman' Cristiano Ronaldo, who will thus play the European Championship for the sixth time (debut in 2004 at home, victory in 2016 in France). Alongside him are Milan’s Rafa Leao and Bernardo Silva.

The Czechs will instead rely on the attacking duo of Hlozek and Schick, with a five-man midfield behind them that includes Fiorentina’s Barak. Three-man defense for coach Ivan Hasek, who responds to the goalkeeping trident with a defensive trio consisting of Zima, Holes and Krejci.
