Euro 2024: Spain-Italy, referee designation scares the Azzurri
The referee of Spain-Italy
Slovenian Slavko Vincic will be the referee for Spain-Italy, a match valid for the second day of the group stage of Euro 2024. He has been designated by Uefa, which also announced that his compatriots Andraz Kovacic and Tomaz Klancnik will be the assistants.
Fourth man will instead be Frenchman Clement Turpin, while at Var there will be Slovenian Nejc Kajtazovic. Finally, two Polish Var assistants: Tomasz Kwiatkowski and Bartosz Frankowski.
There are four previous records with Italy bringing home the victory in three cases (2-0 to Albania in 2016/17, 2-0 to Bulgaria in 20/21 and 2-1 to Belgium at Euro 2021) but the only defeat (1-2) è came just against Spain, in June last year in the Nations League.
