NBA Finals: Boston wins Game 5 and is NBA Champion

The Celtics are NBA Champions for the 2023/24 season. A full 16 years after the last triumph, Boston returns to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Ahead 3-1 in the series, the green-and-whites overcame, in Game 5, the Mavs with a dry 106-88, closing the score with a 4-1 mark that says a lot about the dominance of the team led by Brown and Tatum.
Game 5 was è never in question. Boston was always in control of the game, even reaching a resounding +26 in the second half. Great performance by Tatum, who finished with 31 points and 11 assists. Dà Brown also contributed with 21 points and eight rebounds on the bench. The latter è was voted MVP of the NBA Finals.
On the other side, Dallas never manages to challenge Boston’s defensive certainties. Doncic finishes with 28 points and 12 rebounds but most of the points come when the game è already virtually over. Also bad was former Irving, who doesn't go beyond 15 points with a horrid 5/16 on the shot.
