Italy coach Luciano Spalletti spoke after the Azzurri defeated Spain: "Freshness made the difference, they were much fresher than us. The key to the problem è always the same, we were below their level, they were more fresh and created problems for us on the level of speedà of choices".
With the changes Italy è improved in the final: "When we put in three or four more fresh players we managed to stay more intense creating actions that could have led us to equalize but they were much stronger than us and deservedly won".
With Croatia we need another Italy: "It will depend on how we get there, based on the possibilities of choices we have: if we have no choices it becomes difficult".
