The former tennis player exposes himself on the rivalry between the South Tyrolean and Murciano

During an intervention at the microphones of the "Mundo Deportivo" on the occasion of the promotion of the documentary "The Twelve Days" which will be released on Amazon Prime Video, former tennis player Roger Federer è bluntly expressed himself on the rivalry between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz and any similarities compared to the historic confrontation between him and Rafael Nadal, which marked an era of recent tennis.

"I had not thought about it, but sì, I think the rivalry between Sinner and Alcaraz can be compared to the one between me and Nadal. I think every tennis player has his own rivalries, and in many ways è it is still too early to talk about it in their case" began the former Swiss tennis player.

"Jannik and Carlos are from the same generation, they are very strong and respect each other very much. Both are off to a good start in tennis and their rivalryà promises to be a great battle that could mark the next era of tennis" added the Basel native.

"It's great to see them play, as every time they face each other they offer a show of the highest level. They have all the cards to remain at the top of world tennis for a long time" concluded Roger Federer.
