Gregorio Paltrinieri exposes himself on Jannik Sinner
During an interview with 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' in which he touched on several topics outside his discipline, swimming, Gregorio Paltrinieri also had his say on Jannik Sinner, trying to explain how the young South Tyrolean athlete managed to leap to the top of the ATP world rankings.
"Jannik Sinner is proving to be super consistent. Head è one of his strengths" said, speaking of the world number 1 tennis player, Paltrinieri himself, fresh from winning the gold medal in the 10 km open water at the European Championships in Belgrade.
Sinner is experiencing a 2024 of the highest level, building on the momentum of a great finish to the 2023 season in which he è was a major player in Italy's Davis Cup victory. This season, the South Tyrolean won the Australian Open, the ATP 500 in Rotterdam and the Miami Masters 1000.
