Euro 2024, Georgia-Czech Republic: the probable formations
Georgia-Czech Republic, the likely lineups
Georgia and Czech Republic will open Saturday afternoon of competition at Euro 2024. Kickoff at 3 p.m. at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. After their respective defeats in the opener against Turkey and Portugal, both teams are already facing an in-or-out match, as another defeat would greatly undermine their hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the competition.
Sagnol should rely on the offensive tandem consisting of Kvaratskhelia and Mikautadze. In the midfield, space should be given to Mekvabishvili, Kochorashvili and Chakvetadze, with Kakabadze and Tsitaishvili as full-band outfielders. Hasek, on the other hand, is expected to field the attacking pair of Schick and Chytil. In defense, in front of Stanek, the Holes-Hranac-Krejci trio is confirmed.
