Euro 2024, Albania-Spain: the probable formations
Albania-Spain, the probable formations
Simultaneous with Croatia-Italy, at 9 p.m. on Monday, the other match of the last day of Group B will also be played, which will see Spain, already qualified and certain of first place, take on Albania, in search of crucial points in terms of qualifying for the round of 16. It will be played at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf, under the orders of Swedish referee Nyberg.
As for Albania, a win without ifs and buts is needed in order to hope for at least a third position (a lot will depend on the result of the match between the Azzurri and the Croatians in Leipzig): there will be no disqualified Daku, Sylvinho will bet on the trident composed of Laci, Broja and Abrashi in attack.
On the other side, De la Fuente will not have available the injured Nacho and Ayoze Perez, in addition to the disqualified Rodri. Nothing to worry about, since the match will not have any implications from the point of view of the standings: so there will be space for the players least used in the first two matches, except for Laporte, who should be the only one confirmed compared to the starting eleven played against Italy.
Probable lineups:
ALBANIA (4-3-3): Strakosha; Hysaj, Ajeti, Djimsiti, Mitaj; Asllani, Bajrami, Ramadani; Laci, Broja, Abrashi. C.t. Sylvinho.
SPAGNA (4-3-3): Raya; Navas, Laporte, Vivian, Grimaldo; Merino, Zubimendi, Olmo; Ferran Torres, Joselu, Oyarzabal. C.t. De la Fuente.
