Patrick Schick misses challenge with Turkey

The coach, in fact, will have to do without Patrick Schick, who è left early in the match against Georgia. The instrumental examinations to which the Bayer Leverkusen center forward è underwent showed a calf muscle injury.
As reported by the Czech Football Federation, the player will remain with the national team hoping to be able to return to the field for the round of 16, which, however, will have to be won on the field in the last match of the round.
With only one point in two games, in fact, the Czech Republic would need a win against Turkey to hope for second place, as a draw might not be enough for Hazek’s national team to move into the top four thirds.
The two national teams will face each other on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 9 p.m. at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
