Juventus tired of waiting for Adrien Rabiot: there is a new target
The Frenchman’s contract with the Bianconeri expires in a handful of days
No news yet. Rabiot, committed to Euro 2024 with the French national team, has not yet made it known whether or not he will stay at Juventus. A nerve-wracking wait that seems to have convinced Giuntoli to move on. Continuing to wait for the French midfielder’s response could complicate the Bianconeri’s incoming market too much.
Rabiot, for his part, is waiting for a major proposal. Apparently, he hopes to receive a call from Real Madrid, which is looking for a midfielder after Kroos's farewell. Clearly, Juventus does not intend to remain on standby and, therefore, it seems that Giuntoli has decided to move on, focusing his attentions on Khephren Thuram, a midfielder on the strength of Nice.
The brother of Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram has reportedly already given his okay to move to Turin, Juventus side. His contract with the French club expires at the end of next season. This is no small advantage for Juventus, which could also save a few million (Nice cannot risk having him leave at zero next year).
It starts from a quotation of 25 million euros but Giuntoli aims to go much lower. Not to exclude the inclusion of a quid pro quo pleasing to Nice. Perhaps Kean who, having still one year left on his contract with Juventus, could relaunch himself right in Ligue 1 where he has already played (and well) with the PSG shirt.
