A stunning Mattia Bellucci flies to the main draw at Wimbledon. On the English grass of Roehampton, after his successes with Duje Ajdukovic and Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the first and second rounds of qualifying, the Italian player repeated himself in the decisive round against Belgian David Goffin, the ninth seed in the qualifying draw and number 82 in the ATP rankings.
6-3 2-6 7-6 6-4 was the final score by which Bellucci overcame Goffin after nearly three hours of battle. For the Italian tennis player, this is the second consecutive access to the main draw of a Grand Slam, after also hitting the main draw at Roland Garros.
