Official Ben Godfrey to'Atalanta

Atalanta has made official the outright purchase of Ben Godfrey from Everton. The cost of the deal è around 10 million including bonuses and the defender signed a five-year contract after successfully passing medical examinations today at La Madonnina clinic in Milan.

Born in York on January 15, 1998, a two-time England national team player at senior level after 2 games in the Under 20 and 9 in the Under 21, Godfrey counts 12 appearances in League Two, 40 in League One, 36 in the Championship and 112 in the Premier League.
 
Trained in the youth sectors of York City and Middlesbrough, he played as a senior at York, at Norwich City twice, at Shrewsbury Town and since October 2020 at Everton, totaling 93 appearances in all competitions.
