Fabio Valentini è a new Cantù

player.

Following the signing of Joonas Riismaa, Cantù Basketball also finalized the acquisition of new point guard Fabio Valentini, who signed a one-year contract with an extension option for the 2025-2026 season. The 1999-class basketball player è gifted with great flair and a dangerous shot from long distance, è also equally effective in freeing teammates with his assists.

Fabio è son and grandson d’art because both his father Andrea and grandfather Claudio, who also passed on to Cantù during his career, were professional basketball players. A native of Casale
Monferrato, è grew up right in Junior’s youth. He made his debut, very young, in the first team in the 2014-15 season. Starting in the 2016-17 season, he began to be a permanent member of the A2 roster, earning more and more minutes from year to year until he reached an average of 10.7 points in the 2020-21 season.

After another year in Casale, he moved to Forlì. In Romagna he experiences his best year from a scoring standpoint, averaging 11.8 points and 2.5 assists. He also stays with the biancorossi in the season just ended, touching double-figure averages in the playoffs.
