MotoGp, Ducati: Pecco Bagnaia not satisfied
Pecco Bagnaia dreams of encore
The success in the Sprint Race of the MotoGp at the Assen circuit charges Pecco Bagnaia, who però does not intend to settle staking everything on Sunday’s race, which would give him an encore useful to continue the approach to the top of the standings, currently occupied by Jorge Martin. The rider of the official Ducati team entrusted his feelings to the microphones of 'Sky Sport'.
"It's great to win here, but we can't get too excited: è only Saturday, but I have confidence for tomorrow and I can't wait to get back on track – said Bagnaia -. Already for five races we are strong from the beginning of the weekend and in Sprint, forò so many things happened, between problems and crashes. In the last two race weekends these problems were not there and we won".
"Here in Assen,” the three-time world champion, two in MotoGp, went on to emphasize, “we have something more and we started off on the right foot. We worked really well. The tires? I tried to be consistent to see if the choice made today could be good for tomorrow".
Bagnaia, with today’s success, has increased his championship haul to 165 points, consolidating his second position in the overall standings and moving closer to Jorge Martin, who with his second place in the Sprint Race è climbed to 180 points. In third position there'è Marc Marquez, who remains at 136 because of today's crash.
