Basketball, Latina starts again with Merletto

Benacquista Assicurazioni Latina Basket announced that it has signed an agreement with Daniele Merletto who è the first new player of the first team playing in the National B Series for the 2024/25 season.

Merletto, a playmaker class of 1993, 175 cm in height and 78 kg in weight, è returned from an excellent season with the jersey of 3B General Contractor Jesi, with which he played in the playoff semifinals, surrendering to Libertas Livorno (winner of the championship and promoted to Serie A2). For the Matera native director, he averaged 8.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the regular season. 

"A renewed championship awaits us, which will be a source of further stimulation and great enthusiasm" said Merletto.
