Andres Blazquez speaks out on Albert Gudmundsson

Genoa's CEO Andres Blazquez has made clarity on the future of Albert Gudmundsson: "For Albert there are offers, but none meet our expectation. I understand him, I understand his drive to leave at the best time of his career, but for us the most important thing è Genoa".

"Until we have a solution in hand that makes us feel comfortable, at the same or a better level than last year, we cannot make Albert leave and, as of today, he will not leave," stressed the Ligurian club&#39s CEO to the microphones of Tuttosport.

On the interest of Inter and Fiorentina: "We have never had a formal offer from Inter, è a player on whom there's the interest of many teams, so far Fiorentina has made a proposal, but we did not find it acceptable. Inter I think is interested, but to date they have not sent us any offer. If the offers don't convince us and there isn't a suitable replacement, we will stay 100 percent with Albert, we are happy to keep him and he wouldn&#39t be so sorry either.

Finally, Blazquez announced the Icelander&#39s forfeit for the first day of the championship, which will see the Grifone engaged at the 'Ferraris' against the champions of Italy Inter: "Now Albert has a muscle problem, I don't think he will be available against Inter, but as soon as he recovers; he will be back";
