Milan Tegola: Alvaro Morata stops.
Am Milan tile: Morata in the pits
After the late equalizer with Torino comes yet another tegola for AC Milan and Paulo Fonseca. The Rossoneri coach, in fact, will have to do without Alvaro Morata, who reportedly suffered a muscle problem during the match against the granata.
According to reports from "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the first instrumental examinations would have shown a problem in the quadriceps femoris that should keep the Spanish center forward in the pits for at least three weeks.
Morata, therefore, will most likely miss the league matches with Parma and Lazio and the Nations League commitments with his Spain side against Serbia (Sept. 5) and Switzerland (Sept. 8). The Rossoneri's goal would be to have the former Atletico Madrid man back for the fourth day of Serie A against Venezia. The meneghini, however, would have no intention of taking risks, since after the challenge with the lagoon players, the Rossoneri will be expected to make their Champions League debut and the derby with Inter.
The Spaniard's injury, in addition, could also change plans on the market with the club possibly lunging for a new striker in the final days of negotiations.
