The 28-year-old from Selva di Val Gardena will return to Italy in the evening and will subsequently undergo surgery by the FISI Medical Commission chaired by Dr. Andrea Panzeri.
Since 2015 to date, Nicol Delago has competed in 113 World Cup races so far, mostly in sprints, finishing 13 times among the top ten and taking five podiums, two second and two third places in downhill and one second place in super-G.
