Third consecutive victory for Antonio Conte’s Napoli: the Azzurri team won away 4-0 at the Unipol Domus against Cagliari thanks to goals from Di Lorenzo, Kvaratskhelia, Lukaku and Buongiorno. The Parthenopeans are temporarily at the top of the Serie A standings on 9 points while waiting for Inter, while the Sardinians have to postpone their first win again and are stuck on two.
Napoli unlocked the match on 18' thanks to Di Lorenzo: his shot from distance, dirtied by a deflection by Mina, ended up behind Scuffet. Having acquired the lead, the Azzurri played with more confidence and came close to doubling the score with Lukaku. At halftime the game was suspended for several minutes due to scuffles in the stands, then resumed and almost Piccoli found the equalizer with a header for the hosts.
