Dinamo Sassari knocks on the doors of Europe'Europe

Filed the ups and downs of last season, Dinamo Sassari aims to start strong in the 2024/25 year, which will begin with the possibility of qualifying for the Basketball Champions League if the island club manages to pass the preliminary round that will see Nenad Markovic’s team engaged on Friday, 20 in the semifinals and on Sunday, 22 in the eventual final, also in Antalya, Turkey.

Federico Pasquini took stock of the biancoblù ambitions: "I think the team is working well and in the right direction,” he said, “everyone is focused on what they are doing in the gym and the guys are preparing in the best way. As said, the’beginning of the season è is crucial and can give you a big boost in energy".

To understand what the goals will be, for Dinamo’s general manager, the first games, in Europe and in Italy, will be crucial: "The qualification round in Antalya, where we will find very tough teams, and the beginning of the championship with Scafati and Napoli at home, games interspersed with the away game in Milan, will be a very probing test for our growth".

Returning to the Basketball Champions League and the preliminary round involving Sassari, Pasquini then concluded, speaking clearly: "Andorra I think is absolutely the favorite, Bonn has a structure that is always competitive. Let’s see, we will play our cards".
