Sommer in fact expressly referred to the Milan striker who most often comes in from the eleven meters. “I have to study them, so that I know how to react. And I have studied Pulisic, but I will not tell you how he shoots penalties. All I’m saying is that I have studied him,” were the words of the Inter goalkeeper.

A bit of pretactics ahead of an always keenly felt clash, and one that can often be decided precisely by a penalty kick. Pulisic is warned, but in a way so is Sommer himself: his opponent, in case of eventuality, will in fact know that he will also have to challenge his opposite number psychologically.
