The 24-year-old rider will è join the Astana Qazaqstan Team in the 2023 season after a successful stint as a stagiaire from August to October 2022, during which he scored a stage win at the Tour de Langkawi and podium placings at the Arctic Race of Norway and the Tour of Slovakia.

Although I still lack victories in Europe, my results are starting to improve, both in one-day and stage races. After sprinting in races like the UAE Tour and the Renewi Tour, I have gained confidence in being able to compete with the best sprinters. I am grateful to the team management for the trust and will do my best to repay it, not only in the new season, but also in the final part of this year at the Tour of Guangxi” said Syritsa.
