MotoGp, Marc Marquez does not hide his regrets
Marc Marquez considers his Saturday "bittersweet"
Despite finishing second at the checkered flag of the Sprint Race in Australia, Marc Marquez considers "bittersweet" his Saturday and does not hide one regret, that of having made a mistake at the start and thus being forced into a furious comeback that took him from eighth place to the place of honor.
"I overcame my weak point with a good second position in qualifying, and I made a mistake in my strong point that usually è the first lap. Then a good comeback, but the mistake at the start remains" said the Gresini Racing team rider, who shares third place in the overall standings with Enea Bastianini.
"For a perfectionist it remains a bittersweet day – added the Catalan centaur, who has finished the last six Sprints in the top five -, but there’è good thing that tomorrow we will have another chance. No one knows how the second part of the race will be tomorrow, so there’è to work to be ready".
Class of 1993, Marc Marquez is set to conclude his first season with Ducati before moving to the factory team where he will share the pits with Pecco Bagnaia. With Gresini Racing the'former Honda è also returned to success in two Grand Prix, at Aragon (where he also won the Sprint) and in the first of the two Misano GPs.
