Inter is preparing to take on Young Boys on the third day of the Champions League regular season. The Swiss are still stuck with zero points but, at home, they are a rather fearsome team. In addition, Inzaghi comes to the challenge with a crowded infirmary and the need to make turnover ahead of Sunday night’s big match with Juventus.

Recovering from four wins in a row, the Nerazzurri coach has to do without Calhanoglu, Asllani and Acerbi due to injury. The only good news è the return of Zielinski. In Acerbi’s place, it will be de Vrij’s turn again (as happened at the Olimpico against Roma). The Dutchman will act together with Pavard and probably Bisseck (rest turn for Bastoni).

Midfield with few alternatives. In the middle of the field will be Frattesi, Barella (in Calhanoglu’s role) and Mkhitaryan. On the flanks, possible novelties; with Dumfries and Carlo Augusto pawing for a chance from the first minute and, probably, this could be the time.

Overhauled the attack. The feeling è that Inzaghi wants to preserve starters Lautaro Martinez and Thuram ahead of the challenge with Thiago Motta’s team. Golden opportunity, then, for Taremi and Arnautovic. Both have already scored in the Champions League this year (against Red Star). They will try to repeat.
