Manchester United after exonerating Erik Ten Hag is aiming decidedly at an up-and-coming coach, Ruben Amorim, to lift the fortunes of the Red Devils, currently 14th in the Premier League standings after nine days in the league.
The emblazoned English club, a fallen noble for years now, wants the Sporting Lisbon coach enough to pay the 10-million-euro termination clause in Amorim’s contract.
This is the note from the Portuguese club: "Manchester United FC has expressed interest in hiring coach Rúben Amorim, and the Board of Sporting SAD has referred to the terms and conditions stipulated in the existing employment contract between the club and the coach, in particular the respective termination clause and the amount of €10.000,000.00; Manchester United FC has expressed interest in paying Sporting SAD the'amount of the said clause".
Amorim has already said sì to Manchester United and è ready to take his big chance. Meanwhile, the team è been entrusted to interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy.
