Federica Brignone reveals her secret

Federica Brignone commented on her success in the Semmering giant slalom to the official FISI channels: "I have to admit that Semmering was a goal of mine, I always told myself that it was missing in my path: è it was a podium wanted moreù times and I am so happy. I hope to beat my senior record again; it would mean that I will win again. Other than that I was fine with the conditions and the skiing, I had a good feeling and managed to dose enough".

"Despite the little training in giant slalom, I found good feelings on this somewhat spring-like snow,” added the Valle d’Aosta skier. “I was quite serene: the last two days of training I felt good and I wanted to bring this back to the slope".

"We will start again in 2025 from Kranjska Gora and then it continues nonstop all January. It will be" challenging but there will be a lot of races, including in Italy that I really like and I hope to get there like that", bringing back on the skis what I feel in training that I haven" always failed in the last weeks".

Finally, she revealed her secret: "I like the challenge. To challenge myself, to keep looking for solutions to go harder. I have been competing for many years but in the last few seasons I have been able to do more, even mentally, to find more balance and I feel like I keep getting better. Besides, I have fun and I enjoy skiing. The next challenge? Well, the one in Kranjska Gora next weekend!”.
