Through her official Instagram profile, Anna Kalinskaya informed her fans that she will participate in the WTA 250 tournament in Singapore, scheduled in the phantasmagorical Kallang Tennis Hub from January 27 to February 2. In fact, this is the first of three editions agreed upon by Kallang Alive Sport Management with the WTA.
"I am excited to play in the first edition of the Singapore Tennis Open. It will also be my first time in Singapore. I have been told great things about the cityà and the fans", the words of the Russian tennis player herself in a video posted on her official social profile.
The 26-year-old Russian tennis player will be the No. 1 seed in the women’s singles draw in Singapore. The goal è always the same: to try to go all the way and win her first singles tournament. The start of the season was not the best but Anna Kalinskaya has no intention of losing heart.
Minister Edwin Tong, as reported by theindependent.sg, stressed when it is important to have a tennis player of Anna Kalinskaya’s caliber at the tournament: "We look forward to an incredible week of tennis at the Singapore Tennis Open 2025. Some of the biggest names in women's tennis will be right here, including WTA World No. 14 Anna Kalinskaya and Slam champion Emma Raducanu".
