Roma: Claudio Ranieri’s future is still a mystery

The future of the Giallorossi bench è still to be decided.

Roma soccer market: né Claudio Ranieri, but no one else either. The Giallorossi management has not yet untied any knot on the mystery of the name of its coach for next season. The return of the experienced Testaccino coach has revitalized the team, bringing it back to dream of Europe as well. But, as confirmed by ds Florent Ghisolfi, this does not concur with any decision in view of the future.

Asked by 'Sky Sport' about the choice of Roma’s next coach and a possible deadline by which to communicate a decision, the Giallorossi’s sporting director in fact still took time. "We are not in a hurry, because we want to make the right decision. With coach Ranieri we have always responded transparently on the issue. And at the moment there is no news,", Ghisolfi said.

In order to define Roma’s future, the position in the standings at the end of the year will also be important, a subject on which Ghisolfi spoke clearly: "Certainly è an aspect that will be important in defining the budget for next season. As things stand, however, we are in contention for two competitions and we don’t want to give up anything. We will give our best until the end".

Two other pawns waiting to know their future are two players, Svilar and Paredes. " Our desire è to move forward with both of them,” Ghisolfi admitted. “We want to move forward with negotiations for their contract renewal, but first of all we need to focus on the field and think 100 percent about the games we have to play".
