Serie B: Spezia beats Pisa, Bari curbs Sassuolo, Sudtirol avalanche

The 29th day of Serie B è closed with Sudtirol’s resounding success with Cittadella. At the 'Tombolato' the “biancorossi” won with a clear 5-1 thanks to goals by Barreca, Casiraghi, Giorgini (x2) and Matino's own goal, for the granata the flag-bearer goal è by Desogus. Thanks to this victory Sudtirol hooked right Cittadella in 11th place in the standings with 33 points.
It goes to Spezia the big match with Pisa. At the 'Picco' the Nerazzurri took the lead twice, first with an own goal by Wisniewski (0-1) and then with Meister (1-2) but were caught on both occasions by Salvatore Esposito (1-1) and Francesco Pio Esposito (2-2). Halfway through the second half è Wisniewski himself gave three points to the Aquilots, who moved closer to the Tuscans, second, now only three lengths away.
Finally, Sassuolo was stopped at home by Bari. At the Mapei Stadium, the “biancorossi” went ahead with Lasagna at the end of the first half but were retaken by newcomer Volpato with 8' to go. With this result, the neroverdi stretch to the top of the standings with 66 points to +9 over Pisa, while Bari remains just outside the playoff zone, in ninth place.
