Jannik Sinner barring any twists and turns at the end of the season will part ways with Darren Cahill, who along with Simone Vagnozzi è has been the architect of the Blue's incredible growth in recent years. But Vagnozzi in 2026 will not remain alone and will be joined by a new coach: rumors are multiplying about the future coach of the world number one.
Paolo Bertolucci, former tennis player and now TV pundit, in the latest episode of his podcast 'The Phone Call' revealed some clues. "He won't be Italian, but he'll be a 90 percent European'explained Bertolucci to Adriano Panatta, who was asking him about the next technical leadership of the three-time Slam winner.
"Was he a top 10 player? I think so; or at any rate è he was very close to the ATP top 10. Scandinavian or Mediterranean? Don’t make me say too much…", continued Bertolucci hissily.
So many coaches have been likened to Sinner in recent times: among them Magnus Norman, Ivan Ljubicic, John McEnroe, Ivan Ljubicic, Carlos Moya.
