Fiorentina, pre-match choreography costs dearly: heavy penalty arrives
50 thousand euro fine for Fiorentina
The controversial pre-match choreography prepared in the stands of the stadium 'Artemio Franchi' in Florence in the run-up to Fiorentina-Juventus è cost the lily club dearly, punished by the Giudice Sportivo with a fine of 50 thousand euros. The sanction, which includes among its reasons other intemperance by some purple supporters, è was made known by Lega Serie A on Tuesday. In addition to Fiorentina, seven other clubs also received fines for various intemperances by their respective supporters. Below are the decisions of the sports judge in detail.
Fine of € 50,000.00 with warning: to Soc. FIORENTINA for having its supporters positioned in the sector called "Curva Ferrovia", before the start of the match, displayed a choreography containing an outrageous expression towards the opposing team; for having also on supporters, during the course of the match, intoned boorish chants towards players and supporters of the opposing team; for having, finally, thrown three smoke bombs in the sector occupied by the supporters of the opposing team; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 12,000.00: to Soc. VENEZIA for having its supporters, at the 25° of the first half, intoned a boorish chorus towards the supporters of the opposing team, for having, in addition, during the match, thrown three smoke bombs on the field of play and in the field of play, a firecracker and two smoke bombs; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 10,000.00: to Soc. GENOA for having its supporters, at the 7th° of the first half and at the 31st° of the second half, thrown two smoke bombs on the playing field that forced the referee, on both occasions to suspend the match for about a minute; for having, in addition, thrown, again on the playing field, two plastic bottles and a cylindrical object; attenuated penalty pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1, lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 8,000.00: to Soc. ATALANTA for having its supporters, during the match, throwing, on the playing field, some smoke bombs and numerous plastic bottles; attenuated sanction ex art. 29, comma 1 lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. BOLOGNA for having its supporters, during the match, thrown two firecrackers into the playing area; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. LAZIO for having its supporters, during the match, launched in the playing area four smoke bombs; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, comma 1 lett. b) CGS.
Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. MONZA for having its supporters, in the course of the match, thrown four smoke bombs into the playing area; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b)CGS.
Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. VENEZIA as objective responsibility, for having unjustifiably delayed the start of the match by about two minutes.
