F1 free GP Miami: Piastri ahead of Leclerc and Verstappen. Lewis Hamilton suffers
Oscar Piastri was the fastest driver in the first and only free practice of the Miami Grand Prix of Formula 1: the McLaren driver, the world leader, printed a time of 1:27.128 in the last laps of the session putting behind the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc and the Red Bull of world champion Max Verstappen (new dad).
Fourth place for the Williams of Carlos Sainz, while the Mercedes are in seventh place with George Russell and ninth with Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Fernando Alonso is also among the top 10.
Out of the top ten Lewis Hamilton, 14th and in great difficulty, and Lando Norris, 12th: however, both did not run the time attack, unlike their teammates. In the evening, Sprint qualifying will determine the starting grid for the short race.
