La Liga 2024-2025: Real Madrid-Celta Vigo, the probable formations

The Blancos are expected to rely on a 4-4-2. Courtouis is in goal, with the two center-backs in front of him expected to be Asencio and Tchouameni. The two full-backs will be Vazquez and Fran Garcia. The two midfielders Modric and Valverde, while Guler and Brahim Diaz will act on the flanks. The attacking pair will be formed by Vinicius–Mbappé.

Celta, on the other hand, is expected to rely on a 3-4-3. Between the posts should be Guaita, with the defensive trio formed by:Marcos Alonso, Caceres and Lago. The two midfielders will be Beltran and Ilaix. The two outfielders Mingueza on the left and Carreira on the right. On either side of forward Iglesias will act Martinez and Lopez.
