Daniil Medvedev doesn’t curb talk of Jannik Sinner’s return

Jannik Sinner’s return to the ATP circuit after a 3-month stop due to the Clostebol case is causing discussion among fans and insiders, and even one of his main rivals, Daniil Medvedev, wanted to have his say on the matter, fully espousing Casper Ruud’s words from a few days ago.
“I honestly haven’t talked to any other player about his case. Tennis is a strange sport, everything goes so fast. We are like hamsters on a wheel, just like Ruud said. It’s an individual sport, there are 100 of us next to each other, and when you replace one, the others don”t care much.
“I heard something that Jannik said and I can say, from my side, that I am really happy to have him back on the circuit. I respect Jannik a lot and I am really happy to see him back in the circuit”.
Medvedev will face Lorenzo Musetti on Tuesday in the round of 16 of the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome.
