He suffered more than expected Jannik Sinner in the round of 16 of the Internazionali d’Italia. Despite a blistering problem in the second set, the South Tyrolean managed to prevail in two sets over Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo with a score of 7-6 6-3 after nearly two hours and twenty minutes of play. Speaking hot on the microphones of “Sky Sport tennis” the South Tyrolean analyzed his own performance in no uncertain terms.

“It&#8217s been a great challenge for me, especially right now when I am trying to adapt. There was a very long game where I suffered the counterbreak, where I tried to stay mentally solid. I raised my level, I felt better and that makes me satisfied” began the blue tennis player.

“It&#8217s been a very long day, but the crowd helped me so much. I needed this match, I am happy to be back and I feel very lucky to be here. Let”s see what will happen in the next match” added Jannik Sinner.
