Juventus: more than Champions is needed for Tudor’s reappointment

Compounding Roma&#8217s defeat on the field of Atalanta, it is even more tussle for the final sprint that is worth the’last pass for the next Champions League. With two days to go, Juventus, Lazio, Roma, Bologna and, at least arithmetically, Milan, are still in the game.

Tudor, rebounding from the mocking draw with Lazio, wants at all costs to gain access to Europe&#8217s most prestigious club event. It would also serve him well for his reappointment for next season although, according to the latest market rumors, qualification for the next Champions League may not be enough.

To really convince the Bianconeri board, the Croatian coach would have to take the Old Lady to the Champions League and make a important walk to the Club World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13 (Juventus and Inter are the two Italian teams participating in the tournament).

Not an easy task for Tudor, who also has to deal with several injuries and some players who do not seem at all happy with the situation that has arisen in the Bianconeri household (think Douglas Luiz). However, at least on paper, Tudor has his fate in his hands. On Sunday, the delicate test with Udinese, a club that Tudor has also coached in the past.
