Roma and Cagliari are intensifying contacts ahead of the final days of the market. According to rumors reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs are considering a possible loan swap: Eldor Shomurodov, currently on loan in Sardinia, could return to the capital for Marash Kumbulla.
The Uzbek striker has not è managed to unlock himself in Sardinia and has yet to find the net in 13 appearances between the league and Coppa Italia. Kumbulla would arrive in Cagliari always on a loan deal: in the Giallorossi he has not found space.
Kumbulla, back from the ACL injury suffered at the end of last season, has yet to take the field this year.
