During the podcast ‘The Phone Call’, Paolo Bertolucci directly attacked those who criticized Jannik Sinner after the defeat against Carlos Alcaraz: “I saw that there’s a lot of people who frequent Italian sports who got off the bandwagon”

this morning.

“Of course when you win everyone is happy, then as soon as a defeat comes after 38 games of Sinner here is when someone starts to get off but it”

it”s better this way: you are wider”.

“The problem is that they don&#8220t understand that for Sinner to make it to the finals in Rome was already a half miracle given the stop he had to suffer. Alcaraz played a super match, his best since Wimbledon last year and deservedly won, it is all normal, no drama”.

“The real problem for the others is that for now there are no intruders to the duopoly: something incredible has to happen for either Sinner or Alcaraz not to win. The difference between the two of them and the others is too wide. We already have the names of the two finalists at Roland Garros” Bertolucci concluded.
