Charles Leclerc immediately puts everyone in line, Lewis Hamilton behind

Charles Leclerc, despite an accident at the start that forced him to return to the pits to replace the front wing, set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.

The’idol of the house, winner of the last edition, lined up everyone with a resounding 1’11″964, beating the Red Bull of reigning world champion Max Verstappen by 163 thousandths and the McLarens by three tenths, as well as an excellent Albon who got in between Norris and Piastri.

Sixth George Russell, only eleventh Kimi Antonelli who also finished behind a Lewis Hamilton who accused a gap of 726 thousandths from his teammate.
