Ferrari, Frederic Vasseur gives credit to Charles Leclerc

Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur interviewed by Sky Uk wanted to give credit to Charles Leclerc for the great work he is doing throughout 2025 and also during the first day of the Spanish Grand Prix.

“If Charles is ready to fight for the world championship and still has patience to wait? You have to ask him that, but honestly he is doing a mega job,” said Vasseur.

“We don’t have the best car and that’s clear, but he has been able to stay ahead in Monaco and other races as well. Even when we have difficulties, he is able to bounce back and do a good job.”

Yesterday, however, Leclerc in the first two free practice sessions at the Montmelo circuit set the fourth and fifth fastest times, quite far from the two frontrunners, McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
