A 17-year-old Argentine talent at Real Madrid

Real Madrid has beaten the competition, especially that of Paris SG and, according to the Spanish press, next week, as soon as he passes medical examinations, will make official the signing of Franco Mastantuono.
17 years old, from River Plate, Mastantuono in yesterday’s match against Chile became the youngest rookie in the Argentine national team jersey.
Real’s scouting manager, Juni Calafat, traveled in person to Buenos Aires to get the ‘yes’ definitive from the player and his family, as a preliminary step to closing the deal with River.
The Madrid-based club, which has been following Mastantuono’s growth for a couple of seasons, will pay the rescission clause of about 48 million euros and has a six-year contract ready for the offensive midfielder.
