Milan wants 30 million for Musah: Manna wants to close quickly

The negotiation between AC Milan and Napoli for the transfer of Yunus Musah to the partenopei is entering a decisive phase. The U.S. midfielder, a major target of Antonio Conte and sporting director Manna, has already reached a total agreement with the Azzurri club, but the gap between supply and demand between the two clubs still remains to be bridged.
Napoli has put a bid of 25 million euros on the table, after an initial 20 million attempt. Milan, however, through CEO Giorgio Furlani, has raised the demand, asking for 30 million to let the former Valencia midfielder leave. Furlani wants something more, sources close to the negotiations report, stressing that Milan is intent on maximizing the deal.
In the meantime, Yunus Musah has already packed his bags and is ready to start his new adventure in Naples. The personal agreement has already been reached: a 4- or 5-year contract with a net salary of 2.5 million euros per season, plus possible bonuses linked to goals and performance. Now all that is needed is the final go-ahead from the clubs to close the deal.
Manna, currently abroad, is constantly in contact with the Rossoneri management to try to iron out the last details and find the right formula that will satisfy both parties. Conte, after the arrival of Kevin De Bruyne, confidently awaits what would be the second major reinforcement for his midfield. The coach is convinced that Musah represents the ideal profile for his technical project: dynamic, ductile and with the right mentality to fit in best in Italian soccer.
