Chris Horton says goodbye to Trapani and goes to Reyer Venezia

L’Umana Reyer has announced that it has proceeded to sign U.S. center Chris Horton, class of 1994, 203 cm for 102 kg, fresh off an excellent season with Trapani Shark.

Born in Decatur (Georgia, USA), Horton is an athletic, energetic player with great defensive presence. A modern center, capable of impacting rebounding, defensive help and team play.

Formed at Austin Peay State University, he launched a solid European career wearing the jerseys of Alba Fehérvár (Hungary), GS Kymis (Greece), Cholet, Gravelines and Nanterre (France), Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel), Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia) and, for the past two seasons, Trapani .

With the Sicilian team he ended a star season (9.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2 assists and 16.1 rating), culminating with the Scudetto semifinals (12.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 19.5 rating in the playoffs) and the title of April MVP in the LBA, thanks to high-level performances: 15.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 23.5 rating average in the month.
