Wimbledon, immediately out are Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Holger Rune

Wimbledon began with several twists and turns, starting with the match that opened the day on what not surprisingly was once the “graveyard of champions,” Court 2.
Daniil Medvedev (world No. 9) was surprisingly defeated by No. 64 Benjamin Bonzi with a score of 7-6(2) 3-6 7-6(3) 6-2.
On Court 12, however, Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 26) surrendered to Valentin Royer (No. 113) due to back problems that forced him to retire when he was already down 6-3 6-2.
Holger Rune (No. 8 in the rankings), himself conditioned by knee problems, was defeated by Chilean Nicolas Jarry (No. 143 in the world rankings) 4-6 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-4.
